We welcome new patients (adult and child) to Whitsunday Orthodontic Specialists – and you don’t need a referral from a dentist.
Initial Consultation.
During your initial consultation, you’ll meet with our friendly orthodontic team to discuss your individual needs and goals. We utilise the latest technology to undergo a full examination of your teeth and bite to establish the best treatment option(s) to give you the smile you’ve always wanted.
You’ll walk away with all the information you need to understand your teeth, the best treatments available and flexible payment options.
Braces.
Braces are suitable for all ages (adult and child) and are extremely effective at guiding tooth and jaw development and positioning. Braces are painless to put on and generally only involve short adjustments every 6-8 weeks. We offer metal braces, clear braces or you can personalise your look with a variety of coloured braces to choose from.
Invisalign Clear Aligners.
Painless to put in and most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them! Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear removable custom-made retainers. Generally, you’ll change aligners every 2 weeks and visit your Orthodontist every 8-10 weeks, if required. We utilise digital technology to monitor the movement of your teeth, which may mean you only need to visit us every few months, if your teeth are moving well.
Early Treatment.
Early treatment involves taking a proactive approach to a long-term smile and can help prevent or lesson the need for future orthodontic treatment.
The best time to evaluate a developing smile is around 7 years of age, once permanent teeth start coming in and when their teeth and jaws are easier to manipulate.
Treatment Plan.
At Whitsunday Orthodontic Specialists, our aim is to provide affordable orthodontic treatment to give you the smile you have always wanted. After your initial consultation, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan outlining all costs involved, so that you can make an informed decision on what’s best for you. Our fees are all inclusive – meaning there are no hidden fees for retainers or broken brackets/attachments, as long as you’ve been looking after them!
Treatment Payment Plans with DentiCare.
Whitsunday Orthodontic Specialists offer simple, direct debit payment plans for selected orthodontic treatments through DentiCare. This means you can receive the treatment you need now, without having to worry about upfront lump sum payments. The plans can be customised to suit your individual needs.
Your tailored direct debit payment plan is managed by DentiCare on behalf of your Orthodontist so we can focus on you, your smile, and your healthcare needs.
